Statement issued by the Member States of the League of Arab States

The Member States of the League of Arab States expressed their strong condemnation and firm denunciation of the attacks targeting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of several Arab States, considering them a blatant violation of international law, existing treaties, and the principles of good neighbourliness.

They stressed that such actions pose serious risks to the security and stability of Arab countries and the region as a whole.

They further affirmed that the security of Arab States is indivisible and categorically rejected any infringement on the sovereignty of any Arab State under any pretext.

The Member States called upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately cease escalatory actions, to act with responsibility and restraint, and to refrain from expanding the scope of the conflict, given the grave and unpredictable consequences that could result.

The Member States also expressed their appreciation for the diplomatic efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman and a number of sisterly and friendly countries—particularly the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Qatar—aimed at preventing escalation and preserving regional stability, emphasizing the importance of supporting and building upon these efforts.
