Aboul Gheit expresses condolences over victims of Qatari helicopter crash
Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed his sincere condolences to the State of Qatar—its leadership, government, and people—over the victims of the crash of a Qatari helicopter in Qatar’s territorial waters, which occurred due to a technical malfunction while it was performing its duty.

Aboul Gheit expresses solidarity with Lebanon, condemns Israeli raids targeting Lebanese assets
Mr Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the successive Israeli air strikes targeting civilian objects and assets belonging to the Lebanese state, including bridges destroyed by Israeli occupation forces, as well as the repeated raids on residential areas in Beirut, which pose grave risks to civilians.
