The Mission in Madrid represents the League of Arabe States before the Kingdom of Spain. It works to strengthen political dialogue, diplomatic cooperation, and mutual understanding between Arab States and Spain, in support of shared interests and regional and international peace and stability.

The Mission plays a key role in representing positions and decisions of the League of Arab States, and fostering cooperation with governmental, academic, and cultural institutions in Spain. It also monitors issues of mutual interest at regional and international levels.
