League of Arab States condemns continued Iranian attacks against Kuwait.

​The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States condemns the continued Iranian attacks against the State of Kuwait, the latest of which was the missile and drone attack launched against Kuwait on 3 September.

The Secretariat reaffirms its unequivocal rejection of the continued violation of the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of an Arab state.

The General Secretariat emphasises its full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and its support for the measures it is taking to safeguard its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It stresses the grave implications of continued attacks on the territories of Arab states, which serve only to heighten tensions and undermine efforts to contain the escalation in the region.

The General Secretariat further reaffirms its rejection of any attempt to extend conflicts and military confrontations onto Arab territory or to place the security of Arab peoples, their facilities and national assets at risk. 

The Secretariat calls for an immediate cessation of these attacks and for full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, as well as international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
