The League of Arab States has condemned in the strongest terms the continued attacks by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the recent dangerous escalation, including attacks targeting cities and civilian facilities, most recently the two attacks targeting facilities at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport.
The League of Arab States has also condemned attempts to target Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, stressing that persisting in threatening the security and sanctity of the Islamic holy sites constitutes an extremely serious transgression and provocation of the feelings of Muslims around the world.
The League affirmed that the continuation and widening scope of these attacks, including the targeting of civil aviation facilities and the endangerment of the safety of passengers and personnel, constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The League renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the measures it takes to protect its territory, sovereignty, and the security of its citizens, residents and pilgrims, as well as to safeguard its holy sites and national resources.

The League of Arab States emphasised that the continued escalation by the Houthi militia risks prolonging the Yemeni crisis and threatening the security of neighbouring states and international waterways.
It renewed its support for the legitimate Yemeni government and for efforts to reach a comprehensive and sustainable political settlement in accordance with the established references, in a manner that preserves Yemen’s sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity.
