The League of Arab States announces with deep sorrow the passing of Ambassador Dr Malek Twal, Head of its Mission in Madrid, who passed away following a distinguished career of dedicated service, representing the League in Spain after many years of service at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

We pray to Almighty God to grant the deceased His mercy and forgiveness and to give his family and loved ones patience, strength and comfort during this difficult time.
