League of Arab States condemns Houthi attack on power distribution station serving Prophet's Mosque
The League of Arab States condemned the attack targeting the Taiba power distribution station in Medina, stressing that targeting a vital civilian facility in a city of profound religious significance to Muslims worldwide, and one associated with the provision of services to one of Islam’s holiest sites, constitutes an unacceptable violation and an intolerable disregard for the sanctity of holy places and the safety of civilian infrastructure.

The League affirmed that the attack constitutes a provocation to the sentiments of Muslims around the world and reflects a dangerous escalation by the Houthi militia.

The League of Arab States reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for the Kingdom in confronting any attacks targeting its security, stability and sovereignty, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents.
