H. E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy strongly condemns continued attacks on Saudi Arabia, affirms full League support for the Kingdom's security and sovereignty

H. E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned in the strongest terms the continued attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the resulting injuries and material damage. He described the attacks as an unacceptable violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, as well as a threat to the lives of civilians and to the security and stability of the region.

His Excellency Mr Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned in the strongest terms the continued attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the resulting injuries and material damage.

He described the attacks as an unacceptable violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, as well as a threat to the lives of civilians and to the security and stability of the region.

The Secretary-General reaffirmed his full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his support for the measures it is taking to protect its security, sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.

He stressed that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security, and warned that continued attacks against the territory of Arab states would further heighten tensions and escalation and threaten the security and stability of the region.

The League of Arab States reiterated its categorical rejection of these attacks and called for their immediate cessation, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, and compliance with the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, to prevent further escalation and instability in the region.
